Habitat Week 2024

World Habitat Day is celebrated on the first Monday of October each year. In 2024, World Habitat Day will be observed on October 7th, providing a platform for discussions and initiatives focused on urban development and housing. Join us in celebrating Habitat Week 2024 here at Macon Area Habitat!

During the week of October 7-13 we will be hosting a giving campaign, community events, a volunteer day, and our Home Court pickleball tournament!

Monday Oct. 7th

World Habitat Day kicks off Macon Habitat's week-long celebration of housing!

Join us at 690 Holt Ave Macon, GA at 2:00pm for our Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Community Room Ribbon Cutting and Jimmy Carter 100th birthday celebration. Bring a birthday card! We will be collecting and sending them to President Carter!

Milledgeville Construction Kick-off Day

Tuesday Oct. 8th

Join us at 2054 Leo Court Milledgeville, GA at 2:00pm to kick off our long awaited return to construction in Milledgeville! We will have the floorplans for our first home, we will hear from our Milledgeville homeowners, and board members!

Stop by Macon Bagels for a special peanut butter treat in honor of Jimmy Carter! 20% of the days sales go to Macon Habitat!

YKK AP will be joining us on the job site for a volunteer day in honor of all that Jimmy Carter has done for YKK and Habitat!

ReStore sale Kick-off Day

Macon Habitat ReStore sale kick-off! Visit our ReStore for discounts ranging from 10%-50% off Thursday October 10th through Saturday October 12th!

Our store is located on 690 Holt Ave. Macon, GA.

Store hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm, and Saturday 9am-3pm.

Home Court Under Construction

Friday Oct. 11th

6:00pm to 8:00pm- Kick-off for our Home Court Pickleball Tournament at Tattnall Square Park! Paddle it out on the court or build your skills from the ground up! Round Robin format, not just for registrants.
